From Canada to Costa Rica, to the U.S, New Zealand and now Australia – Ryan is a true citizen of the world and a lifelong circus nomad to boot.

As the story goes, Ryan happened upon someone juggling at school and was so instantly fascinated that he rushed home made an ill-fated attempt to juggle some tomatoes; it didn’t work, but that same day his parents bought him some juggling balls, and his immediate and ongoing gravitation toward circus has never wavered. 

He spent the next decade self-training in the art of Juggling and Rola Bola before heading to the U.S and New Zealand to bolster his skills in various forms of dance technique. In 2014 he made the move to Australia where he attended Melbourne’s prestigious National Institute of Circus Arts, studying fulltime in the arts Juggling, Rola Bola, Corde Lisse / Rope, Acrobatics, and Balancing, while also studying part-time with the Space Arts & Dance Centre. 

Artfully blending these skills into a seamless package of truly original, gobsmacking acts, Ryan is a stunningly spectacular performer and industry professional, featuring regularly in the works of One Fell Swoop Circus, AfterDark Theatre, and Head First Acrobats. 

Currently, you’ll find Ryan as a contracted ongoing cast member and featured artist with Celebrity Cruises for a speciality Rope act onboard one of their boats.
